Cherry Power! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?! – Manga and Live Action First Impression

Last night I decided to watch some anime. I managed to catch up with Yashahime and while I was browsing for another fall 2020 show to start, I noticed that there was a liveaction listed with the anime. I knew that Crunchyroll has had liveactions for a while now, but I’ve never been interested in checking any out since they tend to be too embarrassing for me. But I’ve also always seen them in their own category, why was this one here? And, more importantly, why were there TWO GUYS on the cover?!

watch or pass? Yashahime (ep 1-6)

I was really excited about this series ever since I heard about it earlier this year. Inuyasha was my gateway anime and to see it back…part of me couldn’t believe it and the other was like BRING IT. But it’s perhaps because I watched Inuyasha that I had certain expectations. One of my favorite episodes in Inuyasha is the first because it really catches you in one go. You know the story, you know the characters, there’s magic, and cute dog ears. Yashahime, however…well, let’s see. Spoilers (up to ep 6)

Burn the Witch (ep 1): I Want to Get Married

While browsing Crunchyroll the other week, aside from checking out Noblesse and Yashahime, another show that caught my attention (but that I chose to ignore, or at least attempt to) was Burn the Witch. The cover just looked so nice and it was about witches and maybe I was really curious. Two weeks later and I caved

Jumping Straight into Legend of Korra (ep 1 – 6)

I decided to browse Netflix and Netflix must have known what I was in the mood for because the Legend of Korra preview started playing as soon as I logged in and I was hooked. Korra looked like she’d be a badass protagonists and I was sold when she broke a hole in her house to show off that indeed, she WAS the Avatar. I haven’t finished Avatar yet (don’t judge me! I’ll get to it…eventually) but I really liked how confident Korra was. Like, yeah, Aang is cool in his own way but I wanted a more fiery protagonist to watch

So I Started Watching Yashahime (ep 1-2)

It’s here!! I’ve been really excited about this Inuyasha “sequel” ever since I heard about it a few months ago. As an fyi, Inuyasha was my gateway into anime so it’s a series that has a very special place in my heart. And maybe I used to write fanfiction about Inuyasha and Kagome’s daughter back in the day. Unfortunately, none of this writing survived BUT well, now I don’t have to imagine it because IT’S HERE…and another surprise…Sesshomaru had kids?! TBH, he’s both the last person I would ever imagine having kids but also that dad that would be silently protective? If Rin is anything to go by
